Purpose

Responsibilities

– Managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all employment decisions are made in accordance with this policy.

– The HR department is responsible for monitoring compliance with this policy and investigating any complaints of discrimination or harassment.

Prohibited Conduct

Aerowave Aviation Limited prohibits all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including:

– Discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.

– Harassment, including verbal, physical, or visual conduct that creates a hostile or intimidating work environment.

– Retaliation against employees who report discrimination or harassment, participate in an investigation, or engage in other protected activities.

Reporting Complaints

Employees who believe they have experienced or witnessed discrimination or harassment should report the incident to their manager, HR representative, or through our anonymous reporting system.

Investigations

Aerowave Aviation Limited will promptly investigate all complaints of discrimination or harassment. Investigations will be conducted in a fair, impartial, and timely manner.

Disciplinary Action

Employees found to have engaged in discriminatory or harassing behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Training and Education

Aerowave Aviation Limited will provide training and education to all employees on this EEO policy, including recognizing and reporting discrimination and harassment.

Compliance

Aerowave Aviation Limited is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to EEO under the laws of the republic of Uganda.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed and updated annually or as needed.

Acknowledgement

All employees are required to acknowledge that they have read, understood, and will comply with this EEO policy.
